Monday motivation

Taking time to rest is just as important as working hard. Recognizing when you need to recharge and spend time recovering your mind and body will help you sustain energy in the long run to accomplish your goals. No one can continuously push themself at maximum energy without getting burned out and completely exhausted, so it’s necessary to listen to yourself and take time to pause when you need to. When tiredness takes over, it can feel discouraging and frustrating. Taking time to recharge may feel like you’re at a standstill at first, but instead of thinking of taking a moment to rest as a setback in your progress, see it as an opportunity to gather the energy and motivation that will fuel you when you begin again. 

Consciously taking time to rest is never a weakness; in fact, being able to recognize when you need to recover is an essential strength in your journey. If you carry this tool of intuition and awareness through your life, it will help you all along the way. 

   As this week’s quote says, learn to rest instead of quitting. It takes practice to trust yourself and recognize when to take a break and recharge if you need to. If you give up just because you are tired, you will miss out on so much progress that happens after recovering your strength. Resting does not mean you will lose progress. It is essential in helping you maintain the motivation and strength you will use to reach your goals.
