Monday motivation

“I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me.”

- Tracee Ellis Ross

It can be overwhelming when there appears to be a long way from where you are now to where you want to be. This destination sometimes looks too far and distant to reach. When you’re not really sure how you will find the way there, remember that the only map you need will appear when you decide to trust yourself and your abilities. You have the capability to pave your own unique way and get where you want to go on your own path. You don’t have to follow someone else’s footsteps if that way is not right for you. This seemingly immense distance doesn’t need to be scary, it is a wonderful opportunity to discover and learn things along the way.

Sometimes it’s hard to let go of things you’re holding onto that will only slow down your journey. Recognize the tools you have that motivate and guide you instead of distracting and delaying you. Turning fear and apprehension of the unknown into enthusiasm about the future can be a conscious choice. Bridging that space and moving forward is exciting, and if you let inspiration lead, the way will always be paved with purpose and intention.

Have a wonderful and inspired week!
